Loacoon is a Regulus Syndicate protectorate in the Epsilon Pegasi system, just like Erato.

As most planets and planetoids in the Serendipity campaign, Loacoon is named after a planet featured in the Colony Wars series, which in turn was named after the mythological Trojan priest who tried to warn his fellow citizens about the threat of the Trojan Horse.
