Wing - A unit of fightercraft, varying in size from one to six ships. The normal number is four. Ships of a wing are labelled by their wing name and a number (i.e. Alpha 1, Alpha 2, and so on).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Cruiser - Smallest combatant capital craft classification. Cruisers are at least several times the size of a fighter or bomber and posess mainly antifighter weaponry, with one or two (or in the case of the SC Rakshasa, three) anti-capital weapons. The defensive fire of a cruiser is rarely capable of stopping a determined bomber wing, and most are vunerable to even a well-handled lone fighter. Unable to carry fighters.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Corvette - Middle ground combatant capital craft, falling between the cruiser and the destroyer in size and capablity. Equipped with between two and four anticapital weapons and considerably more impressive antifighter armament then a cruiser. Corvettes are capable of defending themselves adequately against a small number of enemy fighters or bombers. With the exception of the Moloch, corvettes are unable to carry fighters of their own.&lt;br /&gt;

Destroyer - Large combatant capital craft, combining the functions of destroying enemy ships and transporting fighters. Destroyers vary wildly in armament and effectiveness against different types of targets. They will have at least one heavy-calibur anticapital weapon and probably several more, plus a number of cruiser-corvette anticapital weapons. Destroyers tend to need fighter cover more then corvettes; some of them actually mount fewer antifighter weapons, and all have much larger amounts of surface area that needs to be defend.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Superdestroyer - Bigger, meaner, and tougher then a destroyer, yet too small for the Juggernaut classification; first applied well before the Juggernaut classification came into exsistance. Only the Hades and Lucifer have canonically been given this classification.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Juggernaut - The pinnacle of combatant capital craft. A Juggernaut is capable of making mincemeat out of an enemy fleet singlehanded and is superbly equipped to combat other capital craft. Due to its large surface area its defenses against fightercraft attack are generally somewhat thinly spread, but a Juggernaut's sheer ability to absorb damage means that only another Juggernaut or a mass attack by corvettes and destroyers is capable of destroying one in anything like a timely manner. Only the Colossus and Sathanas have canonically been given this classification.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

==Background==&lt;br /&gt;
The GTVA wants to capture the NTT Sunder, an Argo class transport carrying valuable supplies relating to ETAK. Fortunately the pilot is an Allied operative however the transport has a vast fighter escort which must be dealt with. Fortunately the 99th Skulls (the elite of the elite) are on hand to help out. They destroy the escort and bring in the GTA Hamako to block all rebel transmissions from the area. It won't be easy going though, two Aeolus cruisers and numerous fighters attempt to stop you.&lt;br /&gt;

==Walkthrough==&lt;br /&gt;
===Sabotage!===&lt;br /&gt;
The mission briefing will make this sound like a simple mission. Then again, the last mission sounded simple too. About 10 seconds into the mission, explosions will take out half of the ships and leave the remaining standing. They will all be marked hostile, and it will become apperant that you and Beta 2-Commander Snipes-are traitors to the surviving ships. Quickly eliminate the ships, and remember to help Snipes out as well. Once the ships are destroyed, Snipes will alert you that he rigged jamming and detonation devices in all of the ships. Since the detonators did not work perfectly, it is possible that the communications got through. Your acutal objective is to guard the Sunder, so that SOC can bring in a Sunder decoy and detonate it. The Sunder has SOC members on board.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
===Unfriendly Assistance===&lt;br /&gt;
Soon after Snipes tells you that its possible the entire NTF armada will show up, two wings of NTF fighters will jump in to assist. Both wings are marked friendly. The wings mention that they recieved a partial transmission regarding a core reactor breach, but don't mention anything about you and Snipes. Snipes handles the communications, but alerts you that he has friends who will be arriving shortly. Once his friends arrive, both new wings will turn hostile. Destroy them quickly, with the help of the 99th Skulls. The Skulls-SOC's main battle fleet-are flying new Enyrnies class fighters. &lt;br /&gt;

===On the Offensive===&lt;br /&gt;
Your new objective will be to guard the Sunder and the Hamako, a ship which is jamming communications. Although Snipes mentions that it is essential that the Hamako survive, the Sunder will be the main target of the fighters, and once that is lost, the mission is over. Therefore, it is essential to protect the Sunder. Now some more waves of fighters and two crusiers will arive (one by one). Take them out, and make sure to protect the Sunder, as it is weak and defenseless.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
===Planting the Decoy===&lt;br /&gt;
Soon the Naxos and the Sunder's decoy will jump in. The Naxos will help in taking out the crusier if it is still alive. Once the NTF threat is neutralized, the Naxos will capture the Sunder (with the help of the onboard SOC members). The Sunder will warp out, and the Sunder's decoy will detonate. Job well done, pilot. Return to base.&lt;br /&gt;

Actually, when it blows up, wait a few moments for the NTCv Sevrin to jump in... Snipes is gonna give him a good old yelling for his incompetence, resulting in his hanging (Poor guy). When the Sevrin has departed, you can leave.&lt;br /&gt;
