==Background==<br />
Snipes has been reassigned, and now you have no SOC contact. What's worse: you have been recognised as a traitor.<br />

==Walkthrough==<br />
As the mission begins, you are presented with a small cargo depot. Stop your engines and do not attack. The sentry guns can inflict damage on the NTF fighters, which will come in handy later. If you want, you can go for the cargo kills, but that will prove difficult, because the sentries use Morningstars and push you back, hard. <br />
<br />
Once the depot is out, you may kill your wingmen (the "No Traitor" flag is set), but that's only for bums. Play the mission like your're supposed to and wait around after the depot is destroyed. Inexplicably, an Elysium filled with "civillians" will jump in. You will be given orders to destroy it. Do not follow these orders. If you do, you'll face a court martial after the mission for violating [[The Beta Aquilae Convention|BETAC]] and your wingmen will turn on you anyway.<br />
<br />
The other ships of your wing will attack eventually. If you don't want to simply run away until the SOC arrives, you can park yourself directly behind the other ships of your wing so you can tear them to shreds with minimum effort once they go hostile. The Elysium skitters out of the area while you defeat your wingmates.<br />
<br />
Unfortunately, to make matters worse, it seems your jump drive has been haxx0red by the NTF. And more NTF fighters arrive. Several Erinyes will arrive to help you out, and they can take care of the hostiles themselves (this is a self-playing mission). After the NTF fighters and an Aeolus are taken out, Command will transmit an override signal to get your subspace drives back online, presumably waiting until now for security reasons. <br />
<br />
Played "fairly", this is a pure dogfight mission, and your goal is simply to be the last man standing. If you're good with a Myrmidon, you're golden and this will be simple.<br />

You will receive no information on Snipes after the mission.<br />

Admiral Khaffre declares victory over the [[SJ Sathanas|Shivan Juggernaut]], but announces that the [[GTVA Colossus]] has sustained damage. The Admiral then announces a new objective, the location and apprehension of [[Admiral Bosch]], and details the discovery of the [[ETAK]] device that was Bosch's brainchild, Bosch's discovery of the [[Knossos]] subspace portal, and Bosch's attempt to communicate with the Shivans.<br />
It seems recon located the [[NTF Iceni|Iceni]] and that the [[203rd Scorpions]] are being sent in to secure the command frigate. It seems as though Bosch and his followers are boarding Shivan transports and escaping.<br />

First off, make sure no fighters in your squadron are [[GVF Serapis]], but the primary selection is up to you. I personally like a wing of [[GVF Seth|Seths]], a wing of [[GVF Tauret|Taurets]], and a wing of [[GVF Horus|Horus fighters]]. As soon as your in, order one wing to attack one of the cruisers, another for the other, and the third to cover the [[NTF Iceni|Iceni]] (preferabley, assult fighters would deal with the cruisers), you can either help eliminate the cruisers or cover the Iceni, depending on what floats your boat. Aries wing, of [[SF Mara|Maras]] shouldn't be any toughies.<br />

From there on out, the mission is standard escort. Protect all targets of value, take out enemy warheads and bombers first, then worry about fighters. Use your wingmen well... you know the drill.<br />

The 107th embarks on a recon mission in the nebula beyond the [[Knossos]] portal, only to discover the [[NTF]] has beaten them to it.<br />

==Walkthrough==<br />

The first mission in the nebula. Take off, even without authorization (you are not yelled at if you do), and follow Zeta 1. During your journey, you encounter several [[Shivan]] fighters. I don't think I have to explain what to do with them. In the nebular environment, you can hardly aim, so do not get nervous easily. Use your rockets to better handle the fighters. With Zeta 1, you discover a derelict Terran cruiser ([[NTC Trinity]], [[GTC Fenris]]-class) inside the nebula. Try to protect the cruiser as long as you can.<br />

It's very difficult to save the [[NTC Trinity]] from the [[SF Dragon]]-class fighters, and the boarding party will probably also be lost. Jump out of the nebula quickly. If the Shivans destroy you in the last stage of the mission several times, you can stay away from the battle without engaging the Shivans and see how they vaporize the Trinity. Active your subspace drive and depart. Command tells you that there was nothing you could have done to save the Trinity, but several people claim to have defended the Trinity against all the 2 wings of Dragons (with 5-6 waves each). No-one has yet claimed to have beat back the Shivans on greater than Medium difficulty. If you manage to defend it you won't be permitted to proceed with the campaign, like in the other "impossible" missions of the campaign.<br />
