"Sightings of this fighter have been occuring more frequently as the GTVA pushes outward into unexplored space. Designated the AF Charlatan it is belived to be of Ancient's design. The remains of some parts of thees fighters have been found in Ancient ruins throughout GTVA space, though of insufficient quantity to attempt reconstruction of a fighter. The GTVA has issued a reward to any pilot, military or civilian, who successfully disables and captures one of these fighters. AF Charlatans are believed to have relative subspace motivators, that allows the Charlatan to project a controled subspace rift in front of the ship. This rift occupies a position in space relitave to the ship, instead of a fixed point in space as with standard subspace drives. This allows the Charlatan to achieve huge bursts of speed within normal space. If power was not a concern, such a drive could accelerate to the speed of light, and possibly beyond."
