PBR rework is equipped with turret, but it does not add much to it's survivability. All three iterations share very flat profile, making Peregrine hard to hit from front, back and flanks so approach it from top or below to compensate ridiculously large target profile. Although Peregrine is Medusa equivalent in EA fleet, the bomber is much faster and it's capable of reaching it's target very quickly if left ignored or unnoticed.''

Both reworks improve absolutely terrible placement of primary firepoints. 2019 PBR rework has phenomenal primary weapons setup, with six firepoints arranged very close to the center. Peregrine excels at disarming critical subsystems and turrets of large targets using Ripper cannon. High top speed for a bomber was already noted, but Peregrine comes with surprising dose of maneuverability, making it capable of limited dogfighting. It's overally very balanced craft of liberal and versatile nature, but suffers badly from AI stupidity.''
