==Exile - Tech Description:==

A light frigate and mainstay of the Earth Federation fleet, the Solomon was heavily influenced by ORS' famous Vitalius class frigate. The Solomon is also significantly different design because of the way it's attacking targets. The Solomon relies on it's ventral VLS torpedo tubes, armed with long range Scimitar swarm torpedoes - a weapon widely considered as a nightmare when it comes to toe-to-toe with Syndicate warships. Extremly fast, swarm and accurate, the Scimitar is much more succesful even than long range variant of Syndicate Revenant swarm torpedo. First incarnation of the Solomon was intended to be rapid strike vessel, equipped with Archangel Ion Cannons - a weapon to mass distraction target electronics, point defenses and engines and Scimitar torpedoes as a main enfroncer. Later variants were equipped with standard EFN burst plasma cannons to provide the frigate better effectiveness against well armored targets. Archangel was dropped from entire EFN weaponry, and later Massive Dynamic engineers used modiffied Archangel cannon to construct Tychicus class vessels.

Solomon class frigates of today are mostly mid and long range units, heavy relying on her Scimitar torpedoes. Spinal plasma cannons are considered underpowered by ORS tactical arbiters, but despite that fact, they should never be underestimated. EFN is using Solomon frigates mostly as a artillery support unit for later vessels such as Vidar heavy frigate, but Solomon proven it's worth many times as a short range, main striking element. Pilots are advised to avoid longe range Pulse Lances mounted on triple Solomon turrets. Destroying ventral torpedo tubes is critical thread when Syndicate forces battle Solomon class frigate. Also the Solomon is often supporting Vidar frigates. Don't get distracted by main plasma driver of the Vidar, as Scimitar torpedoes of the Solomon will destroy main cannons of our warships much faster than any weaponry of the Vidar.
