===Tech Room Description===
The GTD Wotan was born by the urging need to rebuild and reinforce the GTVA fleet after the Second Shivan War. The defensive potential of even the finest Terran or Vasudan ships was devaluated by the overwhelming power of the Shivan superdestroyers. Terran scientists analized the armor pieces of a destroyed SJ Sathanas in the Capella system. Their results were used in the construction of the Wotan's extra strong hull. The original purpose was to use the Wotan Class ships for the defence of GTVA core systems. The Centaur Project however changed this role and these flying fortresses were assigned to small task forces to lead space patrols in the newly established outer security zones.
