Shivans - Samael Heavy Destroyer

Not many Terrans have survived a fight with a Samael-class destroyer and even less have the courage to talk about it, but those handful who did, described this ship with a single word: a monster. The scary-looking Samael-class destroyer, a vessel with insane forward firepower is the heaviest and the most deadly Shivan destroyer encountered by Syndicate forces. With 2 primary and 4 secondary beams in an even stronger configuration then the Ravana's, this ship is a true killer for frigate-grade ships. Multiple ORS and EFN frigates and cruisers were lost in shock-jump attacks by Samael-class destroyers. In a direct engagement, the Syndicate uses mostly the Agneya-class artillery frigates or massive bomber strikes followed by Vitalius or Tychicus frigates engaging the Samael once its offensive potential is reduced. The very small hangarbay of the Samael clearly suggests that the Samael is a pure siege beam platform, designed to be deployed to the largest battles and survive. Our analysts treat the Samael as new, up-to-date vessel maybe designed especialy for the Sol Invasion. The Samael is well deserved equal to our Galahad line of destroyers.
