The Amaterasu is the most ambitious construction project ever launched. The largest vessel in the history of the Terran and Vasudan species, it was finished in under 12 years, financed privately by the StarCorp Industrial Group. A new assembly-by-unit technique was pioneered in making this ship. It was assembled in components ranging from cruiser to destroyer size and then completed at a shipyard somewhere in Regulus. As it stands, the Amaterasu is 7.2 km long, 2 km high and 3 km wide. Its massive fighterbays can house over 600 fighters and bombers, and poses an enormous threat to anything engaging it with its 169 different weapon systems. This is the first Terran-Vasudan ship that can rival an SJ Sathanas.
