The Notus is a fast assault fighter best suited for raids on convoys and small cruisers. With ten primaries and the capability of carrying the powerful Cyclops warhead, the Notus can inflict heavy damage in a very short amount of time. Not designed for extended engagements, however, the Notus' power plant cannot keep up with the energy demands of a dogfight. When confronted with enemy fighters, a Notus pilot's best course of action would be a head-to-head pass followed by a hasty retreat. Not many ships can keep up to a Notus
