As the mission begins, you are presented with a small cargo depot. An Elysium jumps in, a civilian ship. You can play this two ways. You can attack the Elysium like your morally bankrupt NTF flight leader says to do, or you can not. It actually doesn't matter, although the debrief you get if you blow up the Elysium is rather ominous. Either way will trigger the other ships of your wing, and more NTF ships eventually, to attack. The best method from a purely practical standpoint is to ignore the Elysium and park yourself directly behind the other ships of your wing so you can tear them to shreds with minimum effort once they go hostile.

This is a pure dogfight mission, and your goal is simply to outlast the NTF fighters; not just your wing but others will arrive as well. Kill them all, and then Command will unlock your jump drives and you can go home. No more NTF proganda posters on your wall. No more bad NTF food. Your bunk back on the Aquitaine probably sounds pretty good about now.

SOC LOOP 1, MISSION 3

Fighter squadron: 134th Barracudas
Description: You would help the NTF with a raid on GTVA cargo depot.

Background

Snipes has been reassigned, and now you have no SOC contact. Oh crap. This mission looks to be a milk run, though.

Walkthrough

As the mission begins, you are presented with a small cargo depot. Stop your engines and do not attack the sentry guns. The sentry guns can inflict damage on the NTF fighters shield.

No word on Snipes after the mission, but what you hear in it doesn't sound good.
