The Battle of Rexias 4 was an early engagement during the Terran-Vasudan War, taking place circa 2323, less than two years into the conflict. Over the course of the battle, the Terran destroyer GTD Goliath was destroyed by Vasudan kamikaze wings in the first known occurrence of this radical maneuver.
The large number of casualties resulting from the loss of the Goliath led the GTA to introduce the Hermes escape pod, which would go on to save many lives during subsequent conflicts.
