Blue Planet: War in Heaven Tech Description
Unlike the Chimera and Bellerophon assault corvette classes, which were intended for large fleet manoeuvres where flanks were secured and overwhelming forward firepower was required, the Diomedes is a versatile strike corvette designed for independent operations. Based on the older Deimos class of corvettes, the Diomedes is effective against strikecraft and carries a respectable amount of anti-capital ship firepower. The addition of a fighterbay and fighter maintenance facilities increases the versatility of the design.

The Diomedes' primary armament, consisting of two TerSlashBlues, are both placed at the front starboard side of the vessel. This makes the corvette a much greater threat if it is approached from the right side.
