The NTF Iceni is the command frigate of the Neo-Terran Front, built under Admiral Bosch's direction at the Freedom shipyards in Polaris, captured by the Neo-Terran Front at the start of their rebellion. With over two dozen turrets and a sheath of ultra-dense depleted uranium shielding around its subsystems, the Iceni is an extremely tough nut to crack. With Bosch on board, providing tactical guidance, the Iceni is the equal of any GTVA battle group. Intelligence believes the ship was custom-designed for a secret NTF project.

The Iceni has decidedly FS1-era anti-fighter armament, but if your capital ship approaches from the right side, prepare for a severe beatdown as it cuts loose with paired BGreens. The other side of it has a single version of this useful anti-capital beam. The Iceni is capable of tearing a Deimos or Sobek to shreds, so while it may be corvette-sized, it is destroyer-armed. Under the correct circumstances this ship is quite capable of going toe-to-toe with any GTVA destroyer, or even an SD Demon.

The Iceni is in a class of its own. It has slightly better armour than any other corvette, nearing that of a destroyer, and is a very speedy for a vessel its size. It has massive primary firepower in the form of 3 BGreens, but lacks an anti-fighter capability. And despite its three beam cannons, an Orion would have it for lunch. The main reason why this vessel was built IMO was to quickly reach the nebula and fend off most threats blocking the way. It was designed to be able to get to jump nodes ASAP and with minimal damage, and redundant engine subsystems help accomplish that.

However, its anti-fighter capability is noticeably less than that of the GTCv Deimos or even the GVCv Sobek

While one would say from the Table files that the Iceni has FS1 anti-fighter arnament, in the SOC-loop mission "Rebels and Renegades", the Iceni is seen using both Flak and Anti-fighter beams.

It's notable that the Iceni's anti-capital armament isn't distributed evenly, as mentioned above, approaching from the right is a far more dangerous proposition. The Iceni seen in-game is non-standard as it appears on the tables, mounting a few anti-fighter beams in the place to Terran Turrets.
