The Dustar-class Fighter

Tech Room Description

York Engineering's YE-05a Dustar is sold as an ultralight civilian pleasure craft, with an afterburner system and glide and strafe capability, the Dustar offers the ability to do acrobatics much like military strikecraft. These characteristics have led some to attempt to modify them for combat purposes, though the results are often sub-par owing to the Dustar's poor reactor and paper-thin armor. Nevertheless, some outlaw factions make use of the Dustar, though the threat they present to military craft is next to nonexistent.

Veteran Comments

Please read the Veteran Comments policy before editing this section.

Note the extremely minimalistic character of this fighter, which manages to look good with only 298 polies (a retail Apollo has 263) and a single 512² texture (with glow, shine and normal maps)
