The SOC Galatea was a destroyer from Inferno, but was dropped before the release of Inferno Release 1. It was later released to the public. A modified version of this model was also used in Inferno SCP as the GTD Cabari for some time, before it was once again discarded as part of a modpack change. Galatea finally reappeared to Inferno as new carrier of Earth Alliance

It shares its name with the GTD Galatea from the original game.
