A dual-viewpoint campaign, one side being from the view of RNI Shipyards' corporate security and intended to reflect war on a more personal level than is typical for FreeSpace. The other is from the view of the GTVA, and is to provide a wider-ranging view than normal of the GTVA's strategy and how they intend to manage a third Shivan encounter.

Second Impression is, admittedly, about the author's pet peeves in many ways. It incorporates a vast sum of ideas about how the GTVA's military functions, proper tactics in a FreeSpace environment, and strives to portray the GTVA military as competent, capable force; the way it was in FS2 despite being in over its head..

Only the GTVA half of the planned campaign is currently in development, pending a willingness to screw around with new models and tbms again. The RNI half is frozen until that time.
