A dual-viewpoint campaign, one side being from the view of RNI Shipyards' corporate security and intended to reflect war on a more personal level than is typical for FreeSpace. The other is from the view of the GTVA, and is to provide a wider-ranging view than normal of the GTVA's strategy and how they intend to manage a third Shivan encounter.

Only the GTVA half of the planned campaign is currently in development, pending a willingness to screw around with new models and tbms again. The RNI half is frozen until that time.

Second Impression is, admittedly, about the author's pet peeves in many ways. It incorporates a vast sum of ideas about how the GTVA's military functions, proper tactics in a FreeSpace environment, and strives to portray the GTVA military as competent, capable force; the way it was in FS2 despite being in over its head.

Description

Second Impression - Laramis SDF

Second Impression - 9th Fleet

Wars are not won by defensive action.

Notes

Second Impression is, admittedly, about the author's pet peeves in many ways. It incorporates a vast sum of ideas about how the GTVA's military functions, proper tactics in a FreeSpace environment, and strives to portray the GTVA military as competent, capable force; the way it was in FS2 despite being in over its head.
