  • Name origin: besides the class name reference, it points to the aggressive looking dinosaur Stygimoloch

  • Notes: moves to reinforce Shivan positions in Ross 128 or in the uncharted system
  • Fate: encountered in Lasciate ogne speranza... or ...Voi ch'intrate if the bad endings of these missions are triggered
  • Name origin: canon destroyer
    • This is the only destroyer in Shadows of the Great War that is not named after Guardian Force summons from Final Fantasy VIII. This destroyer may also appear in TSoP's mission The Glory of Memphis, if the bad ending is triggered
SD Minotaurus
  • Class: SD Demon
  • Notes: guards the Gehenna and the uncharted jump node in Ross 128
  • Fate: encountered and destroyed in Lasciate ogne speranza...
  • Name origin: tribute to Final Fantasy VIII's Guardian Force Minotaur (Minotaurus in the Italian version of the game)
    • Sacred and Minotaur (Seclet and Minotaurus in the Italian localization) form up the Brothers summon, with Minotaur being the older of the two
SD Secleth
  • Class: SD Demon
  • Notes: resupplied by an Iksura freighter, moves to attack Allied forces in Ross 128
  • Fate: encountered in Venturing inside the Tomb and destroyed in Raise Thy Sword
  • Name origin: tribute to Final Fantasy VIII's Guardian Force Sacred (Seclet in the Italian version of the game)
    • Sacred and Minotaur (Seclet and Minotaurus in the Italian localization) form up the Brothers summon, with Sacred being the younger of the two
