Odd as it may seem, Shivan laser weapons do really poor damage to their targets, apparently Shivans depend on the quality of there ships and their vast numbers much more than they depend on their weapons. The Shivan Mega Laser is the slowest refire rate Shivan laser weapon, it does damage in between the Shivan Heavy Laser and the Shivan Light Laser.
