:[http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/chronicle Chronicle] can be used as both a noun or verb, so unless Zarathud comes in and says otherwise, I'm inclined to say the title is correct as-is.  -- [[User:BlueFlames|BlueFlames]] 16:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

It is correct.  The article was initially prepared for the site Descent Chronicles, which merged into Volition Watch.  The use of "chronicled" was a signal that the article was about the recent community history, rather than the website itself.  With so much happening in different places out of sight (on listsrv, not forums and on "Descent" websites), there was some concern the gaming community would lose interest before the release of Silent Threat and user campaigns.  We had a flood of people discussing whether FreeSpace could survive the competition of first person shooters.  So I started trying to use the news page and articles for those just joining the community or not on the community developer's lists.  These concerns led to consolidation within the FreeSpace community and the creation of VolitionWatch. - [[User:Zarathud|Zarathud]] 19:20, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Is this indeed "Chronicled" or is it a typo that should be "Chronicles"? - TopAce 11:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Chronicle can be used as both a noun or verb, so unless Zarathud comes in and says otherwise, I'm inclined to say the title is correct as-is. -- BlueFlames 16:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

- Zarathud 19:20, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
