Talk:Name origins

Should this page exist? I don't see much of a point, especially since the GTVA ship database is more complete, and we can just move the name origins there (if that's even necessary.) --SDM 16:41, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

  • This article is definitely redundant, as much more information on name origins is provided elsewhere on the Wiki. I propose this article be changed into a more generic description explaining how naming conventions in FreeSpace are largely influenced by mythology and history. It'd be an interesting read, as well as a good chance to address the topic more broadly. - Mobius (talk) 09:21, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
