The [[GTF Apollo|Apollo fighter]] is the original Space Superiority Fighter in the Terran fleet.  It is the first ship granted to commissioned GTA pilots and the easiest to use.  With two secondary banks, it also can be used as a substitute for Assault, and thus is the most versatile shipIt's not as fast as the [[GTF Ulysses|Ulysses]] or as maneuverable.  It has the least weapon compatibility out of any ship, which is its primary disability.  This ship does have a slightly better hull and shields than the Ulysses.

The SJ Sathanas is destroyed in High Noon

Battle of Endor Syndrome refers to the common tendency of beginner mission designers to create a massive battle with lots of capital ships, fighters, and activity. The main problem with such a mission is the inability of the player to have any meaningful impact upon the outcome of the battle. This problem was recognized as early as the days of Descent:FreeSpace, and VolitionWatch contributor Zarathud wrote an article about it.

Ironically, the FS2 mission High Noon has been suggested as a Battle of Endor Syndrome mission when the player has managed to destroy all four beam cannons of the Sathanas. This is because, despite the limited number of capital ships in the mission, the player's actions cannot affect the outcome.
