The UEI Kumari

Blue Planet: War in Heaven Tech Description

The largest of Federation installations is the Kumari. These massive structures form the core of every space community, and are a hub for trade, communications and travel. Although these structures were not designed for long-term accommodation, many officers, crew, pilots and civilians based on a Kumari consider these stations their home.

Name Origin

Kumari literally means "virgin" in Sanskrit, Nepali, and a few other Indian languages. The Kumari are prepubescent girls believed among Hindus and Nepalese Buddhists to be incarnations of the goddess Durga. When one of the Kumari menstruates, suffers an injury involving major blood loss, or becomes ill, it is believed that the goddess departs her body, and she reverts to being a normal person.

Despite the fact that they have twice as many hitpoints as an Orion class destroyer, and more turrets, they are highly vulnerable to attacks from bombers, SSM attacks, and beams. Escort them well.
