** Blasphemy? No. But I think we already had this talk regarding the Hydra. There are a lot of ships already, and adding retextures of canon ships is just a waste of time for those that wan't to browse around. Also to be noted, I have nothing against it being on the wiki. I have quite a lot against it being on the User-made Ships page.

*Stay calm Apollo, it wasn't your fault. Snail, thanks for the Ktistai228 19:43, 14 May 2011 (UTC) tip. About the reskin list, I do agree for canon ships, it would be a great idea. There is a whole lot for them, some people are searching for them, yet they aren't listed. It is a must do. For non-canon ships however, reskins can quite easily be incorporated in their respective Wiki pages. Ktistai228 19:44, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Please note that the community decided to avoid profanity whenever possible on the Wiki, veteran comments and other opinion pieces included. Exaggerations ("piece of junk") are fine, but "piece of crap" is not, even if it's said in relation to the Osiris. Thanks. - TopAce 07:05, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Latest revision as of 23:29, 28 April 2013

This is for mods which are not meant as replacements for stock models. Meaning that, an HTL version of the GTFr Chronos does not belong here. Modified stock models on other hand may be acceptable. Ie the GTFr Aether is a Chronos with a pod attached and an extra turret. Also, that means no to retextures! - ktistai228, 10:15 PM GMT+2 12 may 2011

  • Is this about the GTC Marauder? I don't think it's such a blasphemy to have one extra ship on this Wiki, even if it is just a simple reskin. Everybody has to start somewhere. - Snail 19:29, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

@Apollo: I think the consensus last time this came up was that any reskins, even if they are retabled, weren't really "new ships" in and of themselves. I believe we decided they could have a Wiki page but weren't to be listed on the User-made Ships list (they can still be accessed from Category:User-made Ships). We could reopen that discussion, I think it would be sensible to have a list of reskins as well, especially for "notable" ones like the reskins from Derelict. - Snail 08:57, 14 May 2011

Profanity

Please note that the community decided to avoid profanity whenever possible on the Wiki, veteran comments and other opinion pieces included.
