The christmas I got TIE Fighter (1995?) I played it on my dad's 90 MHz Pentium laptop so much that the joystick's calibration broke and the little rubber mouse nub wore off.  I think I remember passing out in the middle of one mission and waking up and finishing it later, and I'm sure I brought the discs with us to my aunt's in San Diego, where I spent the entire summer vacation in a dark room serving Admiral Thrawn.  Maybe the best time of my life. No offense, but you have completely messed up the articles I set a while ago. They were just fine, why did you change them? In any case, I tried to solve this uber-problem but I don't have enough powers to do it. Once again, I'd like to tell you that "(disambiguation)" shouldn't be in any article's name. Use {disambiguation} (with one more "{" and "}") at the beginning of the article instead. Thanks for your attention. --- Mobius

*Mobius, I did not fucking make a "horrible mistake". I did what I thought was right for the Wiki. ==Removing Shivan stats==
 +
Have you read the last two comments on my talk page in the shivan stats section? I explained how I found them though table editting and Topace comfirmed it. He had tried it himself, and managed to get it by modified the Hercules, so please, what I was posting on all those Shivan fighters there IS canon. If you don't believe me, go make all of the Shivan fighters flyable and it will give you its stats in the Ship selection page. Grunt minion22 6:42am 23 December 2009
 +
* Bla bla bla. Doesn't change the fact that those stats are non-canon, due to being the result of a SCP code change. In retail, you would never, ever get to see those stats. Even if you edited the tables. Thus, they are not wiki material (or need to be marked as non-canon). It would help if you would follow the discussions on HLP or join the #hard-light IRC channel, where these things can be discussed before they hit the wiki. Going forward, I managed to get the game up, with the correct intro, the background picture, and all ships in the tech database, made a new character and selected the Ancient-Shivan War campain. Maybe we should consider just paring them right down to a line or two. ***I, uh, I don't know. I'm not sure it's even supported by the uploader. - Snail 19:24, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
***All I have done is try to do things in a different way. For the Stealth page, all I did was try to help out and remove some miscellaneous info, which you took objection to. For the Lost Generation fiasco, all I did was do it in a different way. Are you saying that your way is the only way? Sure seems like it. For the ASW page, quite clearly - You were not on the team in the first place! Additionally, with what authority do you "encourage me change behavior"? You are not a Mod. You are not an Admin. You are not a SysOp. Don't act like one! This is precisely why I have been at odds with you, Mobius. Your enormous ego and your preposterous assertions of authority. Why don't you start treating people as people? We're your equals, my friend, not your damned slaves. I'm sorry if I've done something you don't agree with, Mobius, but instead of acting as if you're a god and that your way is the only way to do something, why don't we talk it out as equals? This is precisely the problem I've always had with you. Acting as if you were superior, while quite clearly you aren't. - Snail 20:24, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

****Let me be clear this one. I don't understand why you keep claiming that I have a god complex because it isn't true. That's a mere excuse you have been citing for a while only to find an easy-to-understand explanation of the reasons behind my actions. When you made the wrong edits, effectively turning into dust my previous ones, I felt offended. When you removed me from the ASW team without even knowing that I'm the list, available for everyone to read on the website, I felt offended. Who's the "superior" guy here? Also, I've informed Flipside and MatthewPapa about your misuse of the Game Warden Shoutbox. You posted stuff about knowing my address, coming to me, killing me and then drinking my blood. You then deleted that to hide all proofs. Why don't you tell everyone about this, effectively showing how the true Snail behaves? It's too easy to criticize me (and only me), it's the way too easy. As fellow community member, I can encourage you to do things. We started out as equals, but you were the one who messed up internal forums and came out with this "Mobius feels like God" thing. It isn't true so stop spreading false informations, ok? --- Mobius

***I've edited the ASW wiki page to be accurate now, so don't worry of this. But you two should really stop arguing this much. I mean seriously- act civilised. You're not little 10 year old kids. And if there's a lengthy reply posted beneath this one, with the same thing being talked over and over, you'll just prove it that you can't be mature. Both of you. -ShadowGorrath

****First of all, I'd encourage you to find out more about Snail's offenses. Killing me in order to drink my blood? That's insane. He also posted stuff like:

random whatever

Actually I intend to make a bunch of Vasudan ships for exactly that reason. Have a bunch of rough sketches I've been doodling while at work. And also have one Shivan Cruiser in mind, but if I do him I'd probably save it for my campaign so that'd be a long ways off. Got the Anouke just about done, after that I might try to put together a pack of 6-8 fighters. Akalabeth

That sounds really cool and would give the community so many more Vasudan ships to play with. - Snail 14:32, 7 September 2008 (CDT)
