This is about equal to the Fusion Mortar, both are FS1-era weapons that do more damage than some light beams. The Flux Cannon does 20 more damage per second due to his higher base damage but lower recharge rate. However, the Fusion Mortar also has 800m more range.

Not actually used by any ship in FS1 or FS2; the only Vasudan ship to mount one of the ship-to-ship torpedoes is the Hatshepsut, and it uses the Fusion Mortar.

Oddly enough, it has the same model as a Rebel bomb, yet minus the shockwave.
