Featured in the SR campaign [[Serendipity]], the '''Free Serpentian League''', colloquially referred to as the Serpentian League or simply the League, is a vast Terran bloc emerged after the collapse of the [[Galactic Terran Alliance]], and is the only bloc which has been given a new name by SerRes developers, due to the canonical lack of information on the bloc that gained control over the central Terran systems during the [[Reconstruction]]. Headquartered in [[Delta Serpentis]], the League also controls [[Beta Aquilae]], [[Ross 128]], [[Vega]] and [[Capella]], with the latter being granted some independence on some local matters and co-governed with the [[Vasudans]]. Among all blocs in Pan-Terran space, the FSL was the last one to be formally constituted in mid-2339 and maintained the most ties with the previous local GTA government, while other blocs have seen major and radical shifts in their governmental structures. Its military branch, the [[Armed Forces of the Free Worlds]] or AFFW, is known to be advanced but is rumored to be affected by major internal issues, in the form of small groups acting independently from the government.

Both the FSL and the AFFW have been named as a tribute to the [https://colonywars.fandom.com/wiki/League_of_Free_Worlds League of Free Worlds], a major faction in the Colony Wars series.
