I was curious if it would be appropriate to list (in a seperate section on the page, naturally) defunct FS2 community sites. It hit me earlier today that there is no mention of Ross 128 on the wiki, nor is it said anywhere that Volition Watch formed from what had previously been Planet FreeSpace. Rather than make requests, it's better to just start work until someone starts yelling at you. On Wikipedia, they call it "Be Bold". We can always delete unwanted content later. | ||

Defunct Sites
I was curious if it would be appropriate to list (in a seperate section on the page, naturally) defunct FS2 community sites. It hit me earlier today that there is no mention of Ross 128 on the wiki, nor is it said anywhere that Volition Watch formed from what had previously been Planet FreeSpace. Hey, that's a great idea BlueFlames. The Wiki is for anything related to FreeSpace, including its history (eg the FreeSpace Alpha page). Rather than make requests, it's better to just start work until someone starts yelling at you. On Wikipedia, they call it "Be Bold". We can always delete unwanted content later.
Unless you're asking for help, in which case I can offer none, since I'm far too "new" to the FreeSpace community. I don't think that this warrants an entire new page unless you have a lot of information to share. If you disagree, though, and want to make it a major project, say something in the Wiki forum.
