:::This is true, but IIRC the FS Reference Bible makes a throwaway reference to the Vasudans being possibly uplifted. That's probably worth a mention. "though comments by Volition developers state that the Ancients were no more than a few decades ahead of the GTA and PVN at the time of Freespace 1, except in the area of subspace"
Who and when was this said? Snail 16:27, 16 November 2007 (CST)
I'd like to know too, just like whole "the Shivans are a symptom of a bigger problem" comment. Some old forum member might know. If you really want to find out then start an HLP thread. Noone reads talk pages. Mustang19 08:15, 19 November 2007 (CST)
eh?
- Vasuda Prime is a hostile desert planet, implying that the Shivans had bombarded it when the Ancients inhabited it as they did in FS1 (which rendered Vasuda Prime "uninhabitable"). This implies the "nine cities of Troy" cycle that Bosch talked about in Monologue 1, with the Vasudans being the latest incarnation of the Ancients.
This was never alluded to or even mentioned in FreeSpace canon ever. - Snail 22:08, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
