Background
Recently, the NTF recruited some GTVA ships in the Vega system, and those ships have blockaded the Capella jump node. We are sending a small rescue team into the Vega system to rescue the GTD Justice. You must escort the medical ship, GTM Franklin, to the Capella node and destroy all hostiles.
Walkthrough
This mission requires quite a bit of team coordination, though that might seem surprising at first.
Realistically, a player bomber is required for this mission, it is possible to do it without one but while the host should be doing an almost pure anti-fighter with some attention paid to turrets. Specially the Ragesh's anti-capital beam turrets at the start they must all be dealt with almost immediately, if the Deimos turns around before the front beams are down, the Franklin wont survive. It's also worth noting that the anti-capital beams on the Kamikaze will eventually be in range of the Franklin if the mission is dragged on long enough. It also becomes more difficult to defend the Franklin the closer it gets to the Hecate, as the fighters pouring out of it have less distance to travel, and if you haven't disarmed it almost completely, they benefit from increased cover fire.
The reason team coordination is needed, is two fold, one; when the Ragesh dies (which should be near-immediate), the Longbow arrives, which needs to be disabled, - however, is covered both by it's own fighters and the Kamikaze's. The Kamikaze should be stripped of nearside flak and beams before the bombers reach it at their natural pace, after that happens focus should go full-on space superiority until the Kamikaze drops to about 20%, where it launches escape pods which need to be destroyed.
After this the Kamikaze should be destroyed immediately if possible, and then everyone should focus on the Longbow's engines, maxim, trebuche, even one or two helios (NOT MORE!)
After the Longbow is disabled, spend your time cleaning up the fighters, you can safely warp out after the objective is complete.
Tips
My standard loadout for this mission in the host role is Maxim/PromS, Tempest/Trebuche, in an Ares, this lets you annihilate fighters and turrets, also helps considerably with disabling the Longbow when the time comes. The bomber should consider Maxim or PromS/Kayser in a Boanerges with full Helios. This will allow them to insta-gib the Deimos, and also kill the Hecate without reloading if they get the time on target uninterrupted.
It's key that the bomber let people know if they've dropped a bunch of bombs on either destroyer so that A) no one else does (and blow up the LongBow!) and B) people are ready for the Kamikaze's pods.
