ACT 2 MISSION 8
Description: Alpha Wing has been deployed to deal with a few pirates and rescue a civilian transport until it can depart.
Background
Six days have passed since the Nyarlathotep broke out from Tau Sigma Station. While the search is on, Tau Sigma has commenced evacuation of civilian personnel, pirates included.
Alpha Wing has been deployed to Tau Sigma 3, as a pirate wing has hijacked the CPV Atlantica, demanding asylum with the GTVA. As the negotiations fell through, Command has authorized an operation to disable the pirates. The rest of the operation is ensuring the Atlantica gains enough distance from the planet make the jump to subspace.
Walkthrough
Your available forces are one wing of either the Perseus, Myrmidon or Hercules Mark II. Have an Akheton SDG in at least one bank of each fighter.
When you deploy, each member of your wing will disable one member of Gold Wing (each flying a Perseus). After they are disabled, Green Wing of Artemis bombers will come in. Destroy them.
After a while, a cargo freighter far away will fall under attack. Command will tell you to ignore them, and focus on the Atlantica.
Then a lot of Nahemas and Maras will fly in the scene. Kill them all. Midway through the engagement, Delta Wing (of three Herc IIs) will come in and assist.
A few minutes later, Gold Wing will be hauled out by Hauler Wing, then after the civilian transport takes off, you can leave too.
