The Nightmare bomber is the most dangerous type of bomber we have ever encountered. It appears to use a beam weapon on it's front 'prongs', capable of piercing ships hulls and easily penetrating shields.. Although slow and unwieldy, the bombers massive firepower and heavy armour make it a serious threat to even destroyer class ships. The GTVI is continuing to research into the Nightmare beam technology in an attempt to counteract.
