The part of the battle which Alpha 1 saw only began at that point. Unless there is canon info on the subsequent events unfolding in a blink of an eye, the "Battle lasted 72 hours" claim is factually inaccurate. Lasted 72 hours?
Someone must have misunderstood something. In the command briefing for the first training mission, Loukakis says that 72 before mission 1, the GTVA had lost the Andromeda, the Trafalgar, and 15 fighter wings. The tables took up a lot of space so I got rid of them, you can view the history page if you absolutely must see them. Mustang19 13:52, 21 April 2008 (CDT)

Looks nice... just too big for this small of an article. You might be viewing this from a widescreen, but from 1024x800 it takes up half the screen.
