The GTSG Cerberus is a Terran-designed sentry gun. It is to the GTSG Watchdog what the GTC Leviathan is to the GTC Fenris; compared to the Watchdog, the Cerberus sports slightly more accurate and damaging turrets, as well as a 650% increase in hull integrity. Name origin
In Greek mythology, Cerberus was the hound of Hades. Cerberus guarded the gate to hell, and permitted entry only for the dead. No one was permitted to leave. Cerberus was depicted as a three-headed dog, his tail being a snake said to have at least 50 heads.
He was overcome several times in literature: Hercules's final labor was to capture Cerberus, and Hermes put him to sleep with water from the river Lethe.
