Medal given: GTVA Legion of Honor.
Minimum difficulty for medal: Hard.
Background
The NTF has asked to meet with the GTVA for peace talks in the Ikeya Sector. As a GTVA pilot, your mission is to guard Admiral Richards' Taskforce and ensure the peace talks are not interrupted.
Walkthrough
This mission is doable by two players, both in Ares, Maxim/PromS or Kayser, Harpoons or Tempest and Trebs. A third player as a bomber makes it much easier.
At the start, move behind the Hecate to avoid the blast from the Deimos, then kill the Deimos on the right while debeaming both (Ares on different ships), the Ares that disarms the first ship should go to the Aeolus after and solo the Artemis bombers.
The other should kill the GTSC Kothlis, which warps in at the node and lays a turret screen, then fighters and bombers at the front. When the bombers are dead, the first Ares should immediately self-destruct and move up to be ready for the Orion that arrives from the node. Feel free to kill some fighters and bombers on the way.
Debeam the Orion when it comes in and at the node while it comes in, and then camp its fighterbay, killing everything that comes out.
The second Ares should disarm the Aeolus and then back up the first Ares, AI/player bombers will do the rest eventually.
