Contents
Description:
FS1 Tech Room Description
The Hermes Escape pod has been used since the destruction of the GTD Goliath over 12 years ago. They are used by the crews of destroyers and installations to escape destruction. It is always best to be prepared.
FS2 Tech Room Description
The GTEP Hermes escape pod is now standard equipment on every GTVA warship of cruiser size or larger. Each ship has several escape pods magnetically coupled to airlocks scattered around the ship's outer hull. Not intended for whole-crew evacuations, the Hermes has space for up to 20 crew members. Each pod is propelled by a small fusion engine, enough to remove the pod from the immediate vicinity of an exploding warship. It is also capable of subspace jumps.

Veteran Comments
These are probably the most defensless ships in either game, how defensless? Go play Exodus in Silent Threat.
Motorized rickshaw. Complete piece of crap.
Some ships in this game have comments referring to bombers sneezing on them to kill them, all a wounded GTF Valkyrie or PVF Anubis has to do is look at it and this thing dies.
