The BI Falkosi fighter |

Tech Room Description
Until their involvement in the Dilgar conflict, the Brakiri had chosen to avoid warfare with other races, and thus had little need for a more organized and equipped millitary. The fallout from that conflict brought several designs forward for a variety of classes, including that of a light fighter. None of these were adopted until the conclusion of the Earth-Minbari War and the commencement of the Babylon Project, which the Brakiri saw as an oppertunity to give their race a louder voice than before, and make in-roads into trade. It was realized that a modernized millitary would be essential to support the appearance that the Brakiri were one of the leading members of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds. Thus, the Falkosi light fighter entered production and service rapidly, patroling the boarders of the Brakiri Industralization, alongside the venerable Avioki cruisers. Seeking to also give the appearance of technological advancement, designers chose to include a light beam weapon of the X-Ray type in the design. It was power intensive and did nowhere near as much dammage as the Minbari Neutron guns, but it would make some enemies think twice before chosing to face down a squadron of Falkosis.
