FS2 Tech Room Description
For the past 20 years, the GVFr Bes has been the mainstay of Vasudan shipping fleets. While some Terran systems languished in the post-war era, the Vasudans experienced an economic recovery that was miraculous, given the annihilation of their home planet. Experts credit the policies of the restored Imperial government that emerged following Khonsu II's dissolution of the Vasudan parliament. As commerce among the Vasudan systems resumed and expanded into Terran worlds, a new generation of space-faring cargo vessels was required to meet the needs of this burgeoning economy.
FS2 MTS Model Description
For the past twenty years, the GVFr Bes has been the mainstay of Vasudan commercial and military shipping fleets. While some Terran systems languished in the post-war era, the Vasudans experienced an economic and industrial recovery that was nothing short of miraculous, given the annihilation of all life on their home planet. Experts credit the policies of the newly restored Imperial government that emerged following Khonsu XVII’s dissolution of the Vasudan parliament. As commerce among the Vasudan systems resumed and expanded into Terran worlds, a new generation of space-faring cargo vessels was required to meet the needs of this burgeoning economy.

Easily one of the ugliest ships in FreeSpace 2. I prefer the PVFr Ma'at, both aestheticly and tactically; the Bes only has two Terran Turrets, which don't do much.
The Bes has excellent turret coverage considering its extremely low number of turrets and is extremely capable at intercepting inbound ordinance. Unfortunately, this ship does not require bombs to dispose of; primary weapons will more than suffice, Hornet-barrage techniques approach overkill.
