When the GTVA asked the Vasudan navy to upgrade the Great War-era Ankh sentry gun platform, the GVSG Edjo was the Vasudans' answer. The Edjo has significantly more armor plating than the Ankh, improving its survivability, but the Vasudans placed only one small cannon turret on the new platform, giving it half the punch of the Ankh. After seeing the Edjo, the Terrans quietly began developing their own advanced sentry gun platforms. The Vasudan navy seems content to leave this aspect of military technology to the Terrans.

Wadjet (alternate Greek spelling "Edjo") was a goddess associated with the desert. She was depicted as a snake. She was the protector of the whole of Lower Egypt.

This has half of the already pathetic firepower of the GVSG Ankh, please ignore.

Very UNuseful, since this sentry gun only defend from a fighter with 5-10 other Edjos. Other than that, really not needed. The only reason you would want to use this is when you use it for SEXP triggers

It seems like it was thrown in at the last minute; I don't think it actually makes an appearance in-game. Clearly, the Vasudans don't like to rely on automated sentries.
