This is a list of Command Brief animations created by Volition for FreeSpace 2, and later recreated in a higher resolution by MjnMixael for the FreeSpace Upgrade Project.

Animation representing a computer database entry on Admiral Aken Bosch, consisting of a large 3D bust of the character. In the background is a blue grid behind which is a faint image of the Neo Terran Front emblem that fills the screen. The bust turns to the right of screen half-way through the animation and back to face the camera at the end. Left and right of the bust gradually fills with four chunks of text that appear line-by-line. The titles of these are clearly displayed ('Aken H. Bosch', 'Neo-Terran-Front', 'War Crimes', 'State Crimes'). Note in the original Volition animation the main body text of the four segments is unreadable, but in Mixael's high-res version this text is readable (and contains some in-jokes).

Animation of the 3D 'Node Map' of GTVA space, showing the current state of the battle with the Neo-Terran-Front (at the time of the first mission, 'Surrender, Belisarius!'). Most of the map elements are in green with two exceptions; the three systems held by the NTF (Polaris, Regulus and Sirius) and the links between them which are in bright red, and three three systems currently contested (Epsilon Pegasi, Deneb and Alpha Centuari) and the node lines connecting them to other systems, which are in yellow. The animation slowly zooms in to focus on Polaris, then pans to focus on Regulus and Sirus, during which these three systems given a fiery yellow outline. After this it zooms out slightly and pans quickly to Epsilon Pegasi, then panning quickly from it to Deneb and Alpha Centuari, with these planets given a red glow during the focus.
