{{comment|This mammoth vessel become staple of exaggeration and overambition of early Inferno incarnations. Virtually impossible to be destroyed by conventional means, Icanus is bristling with countless turrets including multiple superheavy beam cannons arranged mostly on sides of the ship. Its signature weapon, the oversided beam cannon is located in tubular section, is facing forward and will basicly kill everything in one shot, except ships of similar sizes. If you ever wondered about including such insane vessels in your mod, believe me and just don't. It is almost impossible to fred a mission around this thing due to its extreme proportions and firepower. Its appearance in missions make sense only as background, and it's probably easier than figuring the plot explanation why such thing even exist.

| {{comment|This mammoth vessel become staple of exaggeration and overambition of early Inferno incarnations. Inferno R1 Description
When one looks at the Icanus, it is usually with the relief that the EA war ended before she could be used in combat. Clearly the largest weapon ever produced, the Icanus' twenty-kilometer long hull houses an amazing quarter of a million crew, dozens of super-heavy beam cannons and the most formidable weapons package ever conceived. The EA's incredible weapon was originally designed to destroy the surface of a planet by blasting the crust with its main gun until the resulting tectonic eruptions tore entire landmasses apart. The same weapon is also of great use against the largest of warships. Her entry into immediate service came about due to the arrival of the Shivan Gigas in the Sol system. She was able to destroy the super-juggernaut, renewing the optimism of EA and GTVA commanders in every theatre.
