The Scorpion is lighter and more agile then most Shivan craft, but not particularly fast. Armament is middle-of-the-road and neither impressive nor laughable, while protection is on the lightish side but still capable of standing up to enemy fire briefly. It does posess the unique abilty to move in three dimensions at once, something not often seen on lower difficulty levels but very annoying on higher ones.
All in all the Scorpion is quite comparable to the GTF Apollo. It does most of the same things with about the same level of competency at them.
