This is slightly more effective than the Fusion Mortar, both are FS1-era weapons that do more damage than some light beams.

Not actually used by any ship in FS1 or FS2; the only Vasudan ship to mount one of the ship-to-ship torpedos is the Hapshepsut, and it uses the Fusion Mortar.

The Fusion Mortar actually outranges this by 800 m, so the comment that the Vasudan Flux Cannon is more effective is debatable.
