"Sure, the Mekhu may only have a 70m range advantage over the Subach, but keep in mind that an exploding warhead's shockwave is deadlier the closer you are to the centre" There's a logical problem with this, and that's that the maximum range of both the Subach and the Mekhu are bother larger than the largest explosions, save for juggernaught sized explosions.
