Shivans - Eblis Heavy Fighter

The deadly Eblis is probably a kind of hybrid of the Kahlan heavy bomber and a Basilisk. Faster than both of them, they are better armed and armoured than the Basilisk, the Eblis is a serious threat to Colony Fleet ships and most ORS fighters. During assault missions pilots are strongly advised to take care of Eblis-class fighters before engaging other Shivan ships.

You won't be surprised if I tell you that the tech description lies, but not as much as a typical description of a Shivan fighter. You can outrun this craft in the majority of available fighters, and it's not maneuvering well. Additionally, it has a complex, bulky shape that makes your work easier. However, it has enough durability to withstand a couple hits. In ItDW, the Eblis often comes with a dedicated long-range cannon that's dangerous for utility ships. Combined with swarm missiles it used to carry, the Eblis can easily jeopardize escort missions.
