Campaign played, from the one I liked the best to the one I liked the least
This is 100% subjective ! and written in a not so good English. Notice there is a gap in quality between Derelict and the vanilla ST campaign.
- The Procyon Insurgency
In my opinion the best campaign around, with a scenario and mission design that could be Freespace 3 (both in spirit and quality).
- The Main Freespace Campaign
Difficult to beat, I actually played it AFTER the Freespace 2 campaign
- Silent Threat : Reborn
A "new" version of Silent Threat, it improves it an awful lot. Great campaign, great design, feels really like a "vanilla" campaign. Two thumbs up.
- What If : Another Great War
A great alternatve version of the Main Freespace Campaign, which corrects many inconsistencies within it. Unfortunately not voice-acted, for this only reason it is inferior.
- Cardinal Spear
Short and good campaign with a great "early Terran-Vasudan war" feeling. Unfortunately very unbalanced.
- The Freespace 2 Campaign
The first campaign I ever played.
- Terran-Vasudan War Project
Great campaign with a WWII feeling. Mission design goes from the good to the outstanding. Unfortunately, the story feels contrived (so far), and we don't really know why we are blowing stuff out of space, nor if this makes a difference.
- Derelict
A campaign of Vanilla FS 2 quality, solid main story if it was not for some missions not well integrated in said story - about half the missions, although good from a gameplay point of view, makes no sense story-wise.
- Silent Threat
This "official" campaign often makes no sense, and is very unequal. Some missions are awesome, some missions are a major letdown. Better play the "Reborn" version.
- Sync
Another campaign more about story than gameplay. Not my cup of tea, but nonetheless you should give it a chance.
- Casualties of War (older version - a new version is being made)
Great ideas but poor implementation (lots of bugs, story almost impossible to understand) makes a campaign that falls short of what it could have been.
