Description:
Tech Room Description
The Typhoon is a new corvette design. The first warship since the Great War to use warheads as its primary armament, the Typhoon packs a huge punch with its Megacyclone torpedos and 'Scimitar' slashing beams. Surperior to is sister class, the Deimos, in both anti-warship firepower and armor, the Typhoon's high maintainence costs and weaker point defenses unfortunately render it far less reliable. Despite these flaws, the sheer amount of anti-warship firepower and armor the Typhoon has makes it every bit as effective as its predecessor.
