Description:
FS1 Tech Room Description
The Amazon is a simple drone, used for basic combat training. They are unmanned, and carry only the weakest of weaponry.
FS2 Tech Room Description
The GTDr Amazon Model IV unmanned combat drone was once used for live basic combat training. They weren't tough, they weren't smart, and they weren't well armored. But they blew up very nicely. These drones are no longer manufactured, but their virtual counterparts are used in the Training Simulator Module (TSM) series. The Model IV is every fighter pilot's first TSM opponent, the first mobile foe he faces during simulator courses. If you can't handle an Amazon during training, it's time to reconsider your choice of careers.

Name origin
In Greek mythology, Amazons were legendary female warriors. According to myth, the Amazons formed an independent kingdom near the Black Sea, headed by a queen named Hippolyta. Archeological findings suggest that an all-female warrior clan may have existed.

Veteran Comments
Cannon fodder, used in training, not much more to say. Armed with the Training Laser these puppies are defenseless, it doesn't matter what gun you have, take these things out of their misery.
I'm glad they starting making training modules because these things look expensive. I always felt guilty in FS1.
It says "SHOOT ME" on the underside. Get to it, pilot.
IMO it is completely useless. I've tried it with 36 of them, and they went down pretty quick in the presence of three Perseus fighters.
Cannon fodder at its finest. It does its job of being a target and blowing up very well, but not much else.
