Description
Tech Room Description
Used by both the Earth Alliance military and several civilian contractors, the Fuel Tanker is similar to the standard cargo freighter. Many of the components are the same between the two different vessels creating an economical advantage. The Fuel Tanker however is specifically designed for the transport of fuel and liquid cargo between outposts. A special containment system can seal off different sections within the transport to ensure that minimal amount of liquid or fuel can escape during a hull breach. Unfortunately, due to compressed nature of many cargo types, a hull breach can sometimes be devastating. Tankers are a target of opportunity for many raider groups.
